A number of Phantacea Publications, specifically Until the end of March 2012, e-versions of Libraries, bookstores and bookseller collectives can place bulk orders through Ingram Books, Ingram International, Coutts Information (and Library) Services, Baker & Taylor, and a large network of other distributors worldwide. Or, if you prefer to order directly from the publisher, email or send your order(s) via surface mail. No matter where you live or what currency you prefer to use, I'll figure out a way to fill your order(s) myself. As an introductory offer, I will absorb shipping costs and government taxes on For all the other PHANTACEA Mythos print publications, I'll have to charge an additional 12% to cover Canadian and provincial taxes as well as Canada Post rates for shipping. I do use bubble mailers, though. BookFinder.com lists both mosaic novels: Another interesting option for the curious is Chegg, which has a rent-a-book program. Thus far its search engine shows no results for phantacea (any style or permutation thereof) but it does recognize Jim McPherson (a variety of them) and the titles of the novels. As for the Whole Earth (other than the Hidden Continent of Sedon's Head, at least as far as I can say), well, this page contains a list of a few other websites where you can probably order the novels in a variety of currencies and with credit cards. |

'The Launching of the Cosmic Express' is the overall title for the four-part Tetralogy serialized in PHANTACEA on the Web from 1996 until 2001. It comprised the novels: 'The War of the Apocalyptics', 'The Trigregos Gambit', 'Centauri Island', and 'Helios on the Moon'. The three devils on the cover are Mater Matare (Mother Murder), Carcinogen the Leper (Plague), and Mars Bellona, as they were depicted in the PHANTACEA Comic Book series. They are, respectively the Apocalyptics of Death, Disease and War. The fourth Apocalyptic, that of Sudden Destruction, is Nakba Ramazar (Disaster). Being headless it might be said he's on the cover as well. The enormous eye-mouth is that of the Moloch Sedon, the All-Father of Devazurkind. |

| Aranyani Nightingale and Doc Defiance are featured in 'Centauri Island'. Vayu Maelstrom, Devil Wind, appears in 'The War of the Apocalyptics'. Aran looks very much like her mother, Eden Nightingale Ryne. Remove the white stripes from her hair and she might be able to pass for Mnemosyne D'Angelo, short hair and all. Both Eden and Memory appear in Heliodyssey. Mik Starrus appears in 'Helios on the Moon' whereas Mammalian eventually figures in both the 1938 and the 1980 story sequences. |

Much of the 1990 graphic novel ("Forever & 40 Days - The Genesis of PHANTACEA", which can still be ordered), follows the time-tumbler, Helios called Sophos the Wise, and his most aberrant generation, the Moloch Sedon, through a series of evidently random encounters ending, circa 4000 BC, with the Genesea and the preservation of what henceforth becomes the Hidden Continent of Sedon's Head. A number of the Web Wheaties, as in serials, thus far presented during the history of PHANTACEA on the Web hinge on much the same thing, Helios's efforts to rid the cosmos of the evil he helped engender during his 5th lifetime. Some of his attempts, such as the one depicted in this collage (having Machine-Machine ignite Weirstar and thus destroy all life in an entire solar system), border on the insane. Then again, as he says to the Trigregos Sisters in this collage: "Innocents do not worship devas!" A Section-by-Section Overview of the graphic novel can be found here. |
