Hit here to initiate orders directly from amazon.com and some its affiliates. Books from Phantacea Publications currently available include Kindle versions of Libraries, bookstores and bookseller collectives can place bulk orders through Ingram Books, Ingram International, Coutts Information (and Library) Services, Baker & Taylor, and a large network of other distributors worldwide. Some of the Phantacea comics and graphic novels can be ordered through Drive Thru Comics. Or, if you prefer to order directly from the publisher, email or send your order(s) via surface mail. No matter where you live or what currency you prefer to use, I'll figure out a way to fill your order(s) myself. Please add an additional 12% to cover Canadian and provincial taxes as well as Canada Post rates for shipping. At present Phantacea Publications can only accept certified cheques or money orders. BookFinder.com lists both of the original versions of the mosaic novels: Another interesting option for the curious is Chegg, which has a rent-a-book program. Thus far its search engine shows no results for phantacea (any style or permutation thereof) but it does recognize Jim McPherson (a variety of them) and the titles of the novels. As for the Whole Earth (other than the Hidden Continent of Sedon's Head, at least as far as I can say), this page contains a list of a few other websites where you can probably order the novels in a variety of currencies and with credit cards. |

No wonder they call themselves the Damnation BrigadeIn his youth, as per the 1938 Web Serials, Dervish Furie was known as a Werewolf in Shorts. As for OMP (Old Man Power), none of D-Brig knew to call him Kronokronos Akbarartha until late 5980, Year of the Dome. Cyborg Cerebrus and Gloriel (Gloriella nee D'Angelo Dark) are the two other members of D-Brig herein depicted. Top of Section - Upwards |
Out of the Grey ... Into the BlueSix of the ten members of the Damnation Brigade are depicted in this shot. They are: Wildman Dervish Furie, Wilderwitch, Sea Goddess, Raven's Head, Blind Sundown and their nominal leader, David 'Cerebrus' Ryne. (Gloriel, the Diver, Airealist and OMP-Akbar are missing in this detail. The first and last named feature here whereas the other two appear here.)There's a photo essay on all ten of them here. Top of Section - Upwards |
Damnation! Stop this FarceThe two snippets of comic book artwork incorporated within this image will be seen anew come the long-awaited release of the first Phantacea Revisited graphic novel (Rv1:DB). The snippet used for Raven's Head is of one of her 6,000 years removed ancestors. It came from the cover of the 1990 graphic novel: Details re most of the other graphics that went into this ancient collage are here. Read it at your peril, though, as it's laden with spoilers.Top of Section - Upwards |
The Devil and the DB-3Could have said the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, I suppose. Except Sea (Sea Goddess) is only one of three members of the Damnation Brigade pictured in this detail. Also depicted are the Untouchable Diver and Sea's twin, the Airealist (Aires to her Thalassa D'Angelo). The titular devil is Devil Wind. He goes by Vayu Maelstrom in the Phantacea Mythos but not just Pre-Columbian Mesoamericans knew him best as 'Hurican' (I've also seen it spelled as 'Urican'), hence 'hurricane'.Top of Section - Downwards |
You're in big trouble now, MaelstromThe tables aren't all that's turned in this 2012, as-yet-unfinished cover for Phantacea Revisited #1. As per next door's original, so is the entire image, minus the lettering of course. (Turned = flipped horizontally in technical terms.)Top of Section - Upwards |
You're in trouble in Black & White, tooArtwork by Ian Bateson, circa 1986; intended for Phantacea Phase One #2; go here and here for double-clickable reproductions of the entire story sequence. (BTW, Bateson's work for Phz-1 #2 will appear in print for the first time in Rv1:Db, which is now available for ordering)Top of Section - Upwards |
You've crossed the wrong party, Devil WindActually, even though OMP-Akbar is wearing the Cross of Mithras, Lazareme's Cloak of Many Colours and the Mask of Byron, he doesn't realize it. For more on the Thrygragos Talismans, check this out. Top of Section - Upwards |
No, that isn't the Amateramirror they're coming out of ...It's the Weird (aka between-space, the dark-grey matter of the Universal Substance of Samsara). As for where they're coming from, that'd be Limbo. For more on the Trigregos Talismans, including the Amateramirror, have a boo here. Top of Section - Downwards |
